semi-detached house in the Roman-shore

Roman landed in Budapest, I designed this two-family house / resort, which actually functions as two single-family house. The folyómedertől ca. 30 meters from the site and as such is practically the floodplain. Therefore, the building had to be raised about a meter, so the highest ever achieved in the Danube water level. therefore, the entire basement waterproof concrete was required. The garages have remained virtually the price level, but the builders undertook adhered to the garage.

  • Dr. Laszlo Harmath:

To argue with Mr. Koos. The blog image is placed in a semi-detached house was not built half. The built in (eastern) part of the house facade image does not deviate from the plan. The garage design of remark reassuring Koos gentleman, that in the past nine years, the number of floods during the only two occasions was inside the water, only 5-10 cm high, the 2002 and 2006 flood tetőzéskor a few hours, when Danube water level has reached or exceeded the 100-year frequency.
The legs on the house next door designed in my opinion is not very practical, the price level does not justify such high prominence, however, inconvenient in use (permanent stairs, gardens missing link, etc.).
